National Theaters are reputed to be viable sources of entertainment. All over the world, they are used to promote culture and foster oneness in the area it is found. Also, they constitute to a good source of revenue for the government. Today in Nigeria, the government plans to sell the nation theater found in Lagos to private developers. The question now is, how will this development affect the social and economic life of Nigerians? Your response is solicited.

MY ODYSSEY

                Just like yesterday, it all seemed just like yesterday. Oh! My memories were like that of a new born, like the flash of a lightening so it was when I stepped foot onto the soil from which I emanated…indeed, it was like yesterday. Achebe is Honoured at the Universitu of Nigeria, Nsukka.

On Wednesday, at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, the Faculty of Arts carried out a procession in honour of the veteran novelist, Prof. Chinua Achebe, who died on the 22nd of March, 2013. The procession was immediately followed by a number of activities, such as poetry, drama,and a host of others, held at the New Arts Theatre of the University. Below are the pictures
